My name is Jean Eriksson and I hail from the city of Gothenburg in Sweden. The allure of French culture, family ties and a more favorable climate than Sweden’s led me to Bordeaux. I take pride in bringing the finest Bordeaux wines to Sweden. Working in trade and exporting wine feels natural to me, given my passion for wine and my life in Bordeaux.

The opportunity to bridge the cultures of both France and Sweden is truly rewarding. The people I meet who work with wine are just remarkable. They are dedicated to their work, friendly and generous which makes this work even more interesting.

Hopefully, I am to raise awareness and broaden the concept about French and Bordeaux wines in Sweden. Perhaps you did not know that white wine dominated in the Bordeaux region before red wine got widespread. Contrary to popular belief, Bordeaux offers more than just robust reds with heavy tannins, this region also offers and develops some delightful white wines. I would like to highlight excellent white wine from Bordeaux’s Pessac-Léognan, Graves & Sauternes. You can find anything in Bordeaux!

My interest in wine dates back to my late teenage years when my father owned a French restaurant in Oslo. Pairing the right wine with a meal elevates the dining experience.
